YBK2-(80-355) Series Flameproof Three-Phase Induction Motors for Underground Coal Mines This series of motors is specifically designed for machinery used in coal mining face excavation and tunneling operations. The motor frame is constructed from welded steel plates, with reinforced measures applied to the fan cover, terminal box, and insulation structure, making it suitable for harsh working environments in underground coal mines.
The explosion-proof performance of this series complies with: GB 3836.1-2010 Explosive Atmospheres – Part 1: Equipment – General Requirements GB 3836.2-2010 Explosive Atmospheres – Part 2: Equipment Protection by Flameproof Enclosure "d" The motors are designed as flameproof type with the marking ExdI Mb, and are suitable for hazardous locations where methane or coal dust explosive mixtures may be present.
Except for special requirements in the frame, fan cover, and terminal box, this series shares the same electrical performance, installation dimensions, rated power, and other specifications as the YB2 series motors.
