Description

Explosion-Proof Motors for Winches
(1) The explosion-proof marking of the YBJ2 flameproof motor is ExdI.
(2) Structure and mounting types for winch explosion-proof motors: IMB3, IMB5.
(3) Main enclosure protection class: IP44, IP54, or IP55; terminal box protection class: IP54 or IP55.
(4) Cooling methods for winch explosion-proof motors: IC410, IC411, IC416.
(5) Insulation class: F or H, with high thermal margin in the stator winding and long service life.
(6) The motor has a cylindrical shaft extension at one end, driven via a flexible coupling or spur gear.
(7) The stator winding uses high-strength polyester-enameled round copper wire, treated with VPI insulation dipping to form an integrated structure, providing excellent electrical, mechanical, moisture resistance, and thermal stability properties.
(8) The rotor is of cast aluminum construction, dynamically balanced for smooth operation, low vibration, and low noise.
(9) Stator and rotor laminations are made of high-permeability, low-loss electrical silicon steel sheets, resulting in low motor losses and high efficiency.
(10) The main frame is made of seamless steel tubes or steel plates for high impact and collision resistance; other housing components are made of gray cast iron not lower than HT250.
(11) Bearings are selected for low vibration and low noise.
(12) Fan and fan cover: The fan is made of plastic, cast aluminum, or cast iron for high strength, connected to the shaft via a key for reliable operation. The fan cover is steel plate structure, designed to maximize ventilation area while preventing intrusion of foreign objects, ensuring smooth airflow.

Environmental Conditions for Winch Explosion-Proof Motors
(1) Ambient air temperature varies with seasons, typically ranging from -20°C to +40°C.
(2) Altitude not exceeding 1000 m.
(3) Maximum relative humidity of ambient air not exceeding 95% (at +25°C).
