YBBP Series Variable Frequency Explosion-Proof Motors
Description
This series of motors complies with the industry standard GB755-2000 Rating and Performance of Rotating Electrical Machines and JB/T7565.1-2004 *Technical Specifications for YB2 Series Flameproof Three-Phase Induction Motors (Frame Sizes H63–355)*. Their explosion-proof performance meets the requirements of GB3836.1-2000 Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres – Part 1: General Requirements and GB3836.2-2000 Electrical Apparatus for Explosive Gas Atmospheres – Part 2: Flameproof Enclosure "d". They are manufactured as flameproof types ExdI, ExdIIAT4, and ExdIIBT4, suitable for hazardous locations in underground coal mines (excluding coal face excavation areas) and factory environments with explosive gas atmospheres of Classes IIA and IIB, temperature groups T1–T4.
The enclosure protection class of this series is IP54 or IP55, with a cooling method of IC416.
This series can also be produced in variants for tropical damp, tropical dry, outdoor, outdoor with moderate corrosion resistance, and outdoor tropical damp conditions.
Operating Conditions:
Altitude: Suitable for operation at altitudes not exceeding 1,000 meters.
Ambient Air Temperature: Operable in environments with minimum ambient air temperature of -15°C and maximum of 35°C (underground coal mines) or 40°C (factories).
Ambient Air Relative Humidity: Maximum relative humidity not exceeding 95% (at 25°C) for underground coal mines; or 90% average relative humidity in the wettest month, with the monthly average minimum temperature not exceeding 25°C for factories.
Rated Voltage: 380V
Rated Frequency: 50Hz
Duty Cycle: Continuous duty (S1)
Frequency Regulation Range:
For 2-pole motors: 3(5)–60Hz
For 4-pole and above motors: 3(5)–100Hz
Constant torque speed regulation in the range of 3(5)–50Hz
Constant power speed regulation in the range of 50–100Hz
The motor is equipped with a separate axial fan for forced ventilation, ensuring effective cooling during operation at varying speeds.
